To know what is Holiness and Live by it we must first know 

the source of our Holiness,  the Holy One of Israel

for it is written

 

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Hebrews 12:14

 

Therefore by his Holy word, we must have Holiness if we are to see the Lord

 

Oh that I might have my request; and that God would grant me the thing that I long for!

Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand, and cut me off!

Then should I yet have comfort; yea, I would harden myself in sorrow: let him not spare; for I have not concealed the words of the Holy One.

Job 6:8-10

 

Now Let's read about the words of the Holy One, the Jesus of the Holy Bible 

 

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.                    -John 6:62-69

 

EVEN THE DAVID THE SECOND KING OF ISRAEL KNEW JESUS THE HOLY ONE IN HIS FIRST GLORY

 

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Acts 2:25-32

 

NOW IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN TOLD THAT JESUS IS THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, IT'S BECAUSE OF THE HATERS OF THE LAW AND DESPISERS OF THIS WORD   

 

 

 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Isaiah 30 8-12

 

BECAUSE THE DAY  IS COMING WHEN THIS PASSAGE  SHALL BE  FORFILLED

 

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthews 7:21-23

 

 

BECAUSE THEY LIVED BY ANOTHER JESUS AND NOT THE HOLY OF ISRAEL

 

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthains 11:4

 

THEREFORE IF THEY HAVE NOT THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL,

 THEY HAVE NOT TRUE HOLINESS

UNLESS THEY ARE RENEWED IN THEIR MIND 

 

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and TRUE HOLINESS.  
Ephesians 4:23-24

 

The Apostle John knew the Holy One too

 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 1John 2:20

 

NOW THE FAITH OF THOSE LIVING IN THE UNCTION OF THE HOLY ONE CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING EVIDENCE OF TRUE HOLINESS AS TAUGHT BY THE HOLY GHOST

 

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26

 

HERE ARE THE 7 SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATIONS OF TRUE HOLINESS
 

1-THE HOLY GHOST BECAUSE OF OBEDIENCE-And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the HOLY GHOST, whom God hath given to them that obey him. Acts 5:32

 

2-THE HOLY GHOST THAT WRITES THE LAWS IN THEIR HEART-Whereof the HOLY GHOST also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 10:15-16

 

 

3-THE HOLY LAW -Wherefore THE LAW IS HOLY, and THE COMMANDMENT IS HOLY, and just, and good.-Romans 7:12

 

4-THE HOLY SCRIPTURES- And that from a child thou hast known the HOLY scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15 (Paul letters didn't exist until 52 AD)

 

5-A HOLY FAITH-But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most HOLY FAITH, praying in the Holy Ghost,   
 Jude 1:20
 

6-THE KEEPING OF HIS HOLY CONVOCATIONS

 

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. These are the feasts of the Lord, even HOLY CONVOCATIONS, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. Levitcus 23:1-4

NOW JESUS THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL SAID

 

For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

7-His HOLY Dietary Law

 

For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY. This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth: To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten. - Leviticus 11:44-47

 

 

 

AND EVEN NOW IN HIS GLORY AFTER HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION

 

 

But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Because it is written, BE  YE HOLY; FOR I AM HOLY. 1 Peter 1:15-16

 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord God, when the Lord hath not spoken.
